Butterflies, bees and bumblebees love the luxuriant pink flowers of this impressive wild perennial. In the wild Hemp-Agrimony grows on damp meadows, by streams and in waterside areas. The flowering part of the plant is also a valued herbal remedy, often used in the past as a tea or tincture to treat fevers and liver disorders. Like other species of Agrimony it is said to have immunostimulant effects. It is still used today to treat feverish colds.
