The tomato cultivar 'Tigerella' is particularly striking, because depending on the maturity the fruits are red with yellow stripes and thus optically very appealing. It is a rather early variety which produces medium-sized round fruits with a somewhat harder peel, often allowing harvests well into October. In good tomato years, the taste is juicy, rather sweet and fruity. Tigerella is quite resistant to the usual tomato ailments.
